Billing & Payment
Direct billing is available on most major benefits plans
Most extended healthcare plans offer coverage for Registered Massage Therapy, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Naturopathic, Osteopathy, and Acupuncture treatment, and we offer direct billing wherever possible. Some benefit plans offer full coverage, but most plans allow a set amount or percentage of coverage per service, which may be less than the cost of your treatment. Please see you plan details for more information.
Billing and payment – seamlessly streamlined
We’re pleased to offer direct billing as a convenience service, provided that electronic submissions are allowed by the insurer. Our team will do our best to make your billing process seamless. We store your insurance and credit card information securely so we can submit to your and receive your co-payment once the claim is finalized. Any balance not covered by insurance (ex: in the event of a partial payment or denied claim, or late-cancelled appointment) can be charged to your profile once your claim has been finalized.
This allows us to offer direct billing to a wider range of patients, and to submit claims outside of regular business hours and when immediate claim responses are not available. It also saves you from having to follow up on the status of your claim or payment -- our team will simply send you a receipt once your claim is complete.
Coverage and availability do vary from plan to plan
While we do our best to offer this service to all that qualify, we are unable to guarantee that direct billing will be available or that your claim will be accepted. Patients are each personally responsible for all treatment and cancellation fees they incur, which are due at the time of your appointment. Our published fee schedule applies in all cases.
Many plans will pay your coverage amount to the clinic directly, however this may not be available on all plans that allow claim submissions, and coverage varies from plan to plan and may not cover the full cost of your treatment. Please consult your plan administrator for coverage and eligibility details prior to your appointment, as our staff will not have access to the specific details of your private plan. In the event that direct billing or assignment of payment to the clinic is not available, a signed receipt will be provided for your payment so that you can submit a claim for reimbursement.
We reserve the right to ask for photo identification matching the insured patient’s name, and to refuse to bill an insurer if plan abuse is suspected or appropriate identification is not provided.
Prices effective January 1st, 2024
We accept payment by all major credit cards, Interac debit, and cash. A signed receipt will be provided for all transactions where direct billing is not available. Payment is due in full at the time of treatment.
Bring your coverage card to your appointment and our reception team will help set up your direct billing account and submit your claim for eligible services.
