Pain with movement? Stiff joints? Mulligan mobil Pain with movement? Stiff joints?

Mulligan mobilization helps retrain an injured or stiff joint to move smoothly through its full range of motion. Active motion by the client is assisted with passive “glide” by the practitioner, easing the affected joint through a pain free movement while ensuring that it’s positioned and tracking properly through its full range.

When used in a physiotherapy treatment plan, #mulliganconcept mobilization helps retrain movement patterns, reduces pain, and improves mobility while allowing strengthening of the affected joint without irritation.

Mulligan mobs can be particularly helpful for stiffness of the spine, patella femoral pain syndrome, frozen shoulder, and post-surgical recovery as well as sport injuries and chronic pain, and is used by specially-trained physiotherapists as an additional manual therapy modality as part of a broader treatment plan that includes assessment, exercise therapy, patient education, and other techniques.
